Since November 2023, I’ve been working on researching the history of Seattle, Washington, in the fifty years since the “Boeing Bust.” The project has led me to talk with any number of skilled reporters, musicians, politicians, and businesspeople from around the city.

The goal of the project is to explore a different facet of the city in each decade since the 1970s. There are so many formidable people that helped make Seattle what it is. They didn’t always agree, but I think a good day’s work is celebrating their contributions for their own merit.
